Don Thomas

Don Thomas, aka Dr Don the Director is the Founder and CEO of “Daphamfilms” (which is slang for “The Family Films'').  As Don wears many hats in the film production industry, he is proud to hold the titles of Director, Videographer, Producer, and Master Editor of Dapham Media Group.  His expertise and gorilla style approach, sets him far apart from any competition.  

 Attending the Art institute of Philadelphia, Don graduated with his  associates degree and hit the ground running, pursuing his dream.  Starting off working as the Director of operation for Comcast for 9 years, Don also shared his talents with the local community center in the tri-state area of Philadelphia by teaching before and behind the scenes of video production classes.  Like those before him, he hoped to reach and inspire just one person to follow their dreams in film.

From filming music videos for artists such as Jill Scott, Freeway, Dru Hill, filming televised series such as Keith Sweat, and Dru Hill’s reality shows to  currently filming We5 with Eric Roberts, Don has been putting in his leg work for over the past 15 years.  

As Dapham has grown over the years as a film production company, Don has also had the pleasure to film big events such as concert events for celebrities like Sinbad, Patti LaBelle, Bill Bellamy, Jermaine Dupri, Nicki Minaj, and P Diddy just to name a few.   

Don Thomas has been the man behind the scenes, and a major driving force for many successful projects.  This is the time for Don Thomas,  DMG Dapham MEDIA GROUP to step out from the back and shine.
